the seal is a cute webkinz. My grandson was not happy with it's "fuzz" and would have preferred plush...but he got over it quickly and loved him anyway.

Although this little seal is darling, my granddaughters seldom play with the well-made Webkinz animals, or any other plush animals, and most of them find their way into a storage box under each bed. They collect the Webkinz animals because they love to play with the virtual animal counterparts on the Webkinz on-line site. The website is very safe for children, contains many interesting and educational games and activities, is frequently updated, and has a great customer service ethic. Children are responsible for the well being of their on-line animals, and I think it promotes a healthy sense of empathy and responsibility. My granddaughters love decorating rooms and growing food in their virtual gardens for their animals. They earn virtual Webkinz $$ to support their virtual Webkinz family. This website provides good educational entertainment.

The seal doesnt have much hair. In fact the "hairs" appear to be like string. It doesnt have much so the seal is a bit strangly or bald. Got ours and it already lost one string just after getting it out of its box and gently handling it.

This is my 6 year olds favorite Webkinz. I only wish it were machine washable. He totes it around everywhere and after only having it for a few days it's looking very grungy. It is super soft and very adorable.

Cute, but not as fun as some of the other WebkinzJan 28, 2008
My daughter has spent a few hours playing with this toy. It gets dirty a bit easily because it is white. The ansence of arms and/or legs makes it so she cannot dress up this animal the way she can her other Webkinz. The educational value comes from the video link to the games on the Internet. (Without computer access, the educational value disappears.) Because of the limitations of the physical version of this toy, my daughter actually enjoys playing with its virtual counterpart more.
