This toy is BEAUTIFUL! A new favorite WebkinzDec 26, 2010
First off, we have adult Webkinz addicts in our house! Most of the ones we buy are for
people over 20. This one was for ME! ; )
As far as educational - well, the main educational value is in learning patience while
trying to get the Webkinz website to load. There are many games and activities in there that
kids do enjoy (as well as some I like), but their site leaves much to be desired on reliability.
However, if my children were still much younger, I would have no problems with them using
the website and the things that this toy unlocks online.
I love the Webkinz dragons, and have them all. I bought this one for myself.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the dragon's actual color is a little different
from the photo here. Yes, I know - computer monitors can vary, but this one varies a lot.
The photo here makes it look like it is in shades of turquoise blues. That is not the case.
May I say that this is a beautiful stuffed toy? Ganz certainly knows how to make an attractive
critter. The dragon's body is actually WHITE, with a light blue strip on the forehead, nose
and down the back. The "ears" and eyes are a deeper light blue.
The wings are a gorgeous baby blue satin-like material, with a silver cord.
There are silver horns and a silver triangular tip on it's tail. Now, I wish they would
have left the horns off, because this critter looks more angelic than anything with horns.
There is a row of scales or whatever dragons have down their necks done in the same baby blue satin.
My personal favorite part is the belly - it is sewn in rows, like a reptile's underside, but
done in silver holographic fabric that catches the light and reflects rainbow colored bits.
Of course, there is a signature "W" embroidered on the hiney.
This is a very well-made toy, and seriously is the nicest-looking Webkinz I now have.
The pink dragon also has the holographic tummy, but this combination of white and light blues
makes for such a great wintery appearance!
I would highly recommend getting this for anyone who loves the Webkinz, or likes non-evil dragons.
(You know the ones I mean - the ones that are fire-breathing, nasty, evil-looking things.)
Definitely child-friendly, beautiful stuffed toy.

New FavoriteDec 29, 2010

My daughter got this for Christmas and says it was her favorite present. It certainly is a beautiful and soft stuffed toy. Like other Webkinz dragons it looks to have a fragile neck that will become wobbly with time but right now it's perfect.

Flightless But Nearly FlawlessMay 30, 2011
I purchased this Webkinz plush to compliment my five year-old daughter's two other Webkinz plushies. She is by no means a Webkinz "addict," as other reviewers on Amazon have characterized themselves, but I can see how one could end up on this slippery slope: they are very cute and the accompanying website offers an entertaining, educational, and most importantly, safe virtual environment.
This Webkinz plush in particular is very cute. My daughter decided to name her ice dragon Daphne, which I thought suited the plush well. There's not much else to say about this product. If you are considering purchasing it then you are probably already familiar with the nature of this toy. The pictures on Amazon accurately reflect how attractive this piece is, though they don't allow you to see the toy's beautiful blue eyes.
Despite this praise, I did not give the ice dragon five stars because I think that its description was somewhat deceptive. After logging on to the website my daughter was somewhat disappointed to discover that though Daphne has wings, the avatar cannot fly. So, if you are interested in obtaining a flying creature so that you can purchase a tree-top room on the website, then this particular toy may not be for you.

webkinz number 11, webkinz dragon number 6Feb 23, 2012
By Julia R. Good
I happen to be a webkinz dragon collector. I was greatly impressed with this dragon for being surprisingly soft, this happens to be a rather pretty dragon, also it increases the durability factor greatly because of the fact that it, besides the Twilight Dragon, is the only dragon that hasn't had its neck "broken" within a week of recieval. The "broken" neck is where the stuffed animal's head lays limp against its chest.
I got this dragon in December, and its price has gone up considerably since I bought mine, when I got mine, it was $13, now they are getting to be around $30-$50. The newer webkinz are beginning to grow to an outrageous cost, making them suddenly unaffordable for young kids that have a weekly allowence. So, I am buying the older ones, so that I can continue to keep my wenkinz account alive, if the prices raise much more, I'm afraid that I might have to forsake my Webkinz account.
