This was a pricey toy, but I decided to splurge on it for Christmas since it completes my daughter's set of Spongebob character plushes. It is totally worth the price in terms of quality, detail and workmanship. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I wish the tentacles weren't sewn together so kids could move them independently to "walk" Squidward. This would be like Spongebobs legs being sewn together so he couldn't walk -- not the best for imaginative play. I'm not sure why it's made that way - I don't watch the show myself very carefully so maybe he doesn't walk on independently moving tentacles there either.

I enjoy this Squidward beanie a lot! Once Squidward came in my Spongebob ty collection was officially complete. I will admit, the only exception was the price. I wish it wasn't so expensive. If It only cost oh say, $7.99 I would've been eager. But nevertheless, this Squidward is better than the old toy I used to have. It doen't have those bendy nails poking out. And Squidward himself is a hilarious character. I lov how he is 100% pessimistic and I also call anyone who acts mopey a "Squidward."

Squidward was purchased for our 3 yr old grand daughter. When Squidward arrived in the small box, his neck was bent. Bob at BB Toys offered to replace him for us. He told us he thought that's why Squidward was being retired because of his neck not being strong. We figured since a 3 yr old would be playing with him his neck would get alot looser as time goes by so we decided not to worry about it. I will purchase from this company again as they were very nice to deal with and offered to replace Squidward. Thanks Bob.

The legs on this product are hooked together but I knew this when I bought it, I did some research first before spending this kind of money on a Ty beanie. I bought the Sponge Bob Ty beanie set separately through Amazon. I am very happy. I purchased them for my toddler daughter who loves Sponge Bob. They are perfect size for carting around. Great product. PS the head is a little top heavy as you'd expect for a small neck. Research and make sure it is what you want. I knew what I was purchasing first.
