My kids don't have allergies but I still love that the Pluffies are machine washable. It's a little bigger than your average beanie baby. All parts - like eyes and nose - are sewn on so there are no small parts that could come off and become a choking hazard. The fabric is soft and the toy is just the right amount of "floppy" to snuggle with and take everywhere.

I wanted to share that our Pursley has eyes sewn on with thread instead of buttons (ordered in January 2011), so that choking hazard has been removed. Love this kitty - he is so soft and cuddly :)

Toy is soft and durable, only issue is the eyes are hard plastic and could be a choking hazard if they came of the cat. But they are solidly mounted and we haven't had a problem. We have 3 of these cat one does have embroidered black eyes, that seams like a better idea. THEY ARE MACHINE WASHABLE making this toy a A+

My 2 year old niece has one of these cats she carrys it around all the time and was in need of a new one so I found 2 and purchased them for her for Christmas and now she carrys around all 3 of them. They go everywhere with her.She just loves her kittys.

I had to buy this toy as a replacement for one that my daughter has had for over 2yrs, but lost. She loves her Mee-Ow so much, it's her favorite toy. She loves to dress her up in doll clothes and play with her. Mee-Ow comes with us everywhere and goes to sleep with her every night. I would definitely recommend this cat, or any one of the other Ty toys for your child. We have gotten so much use out of this kitty, and I was so happy to be able to find an exact match for the one that she lost.
