This is a LIE. (As Dolores Umbridge would say.)
Seriously, though, this Hello Kitty is not 8 inches tall. It is the size of a regular Beanie Baby, around 6 inches tall. When I opened my package I was somewhat disappointed.
Someone needs to buy a new ruler.

Beanie Baby of Hello Kitty was purchased for my grand daughter. Plan to put it with more Hello Kitty items I am giving for her birthday. The birthday party theme is Hello Kitty and she is a fan.....so everything should be a big hit! The beanie baby is adorable and not a knock off....it's a Ty. The price was good and I have no complaints.

When it arrived, there was a large hole in the seam. However, the hole isn't that noticeable and can be easily fixed.

I bought this for my girlfriend cousin for Christmas, it came in pretty fast, the quality is good, but it is kinda small, so far this product is good to have

It's a Beanie Baby therefore it is small, cute, and well constructed. My daughter loves Hello Kitty and we got her this one since it was the classic Hello Kitty style (there are many versions including an all pink you you can chose from for purchase). She adores it.
Just know that it is small (as nearly all Beanie Baby plush toys are), about the size of a softball, so if you are looking for a big stuffed toy this is not it.
