Jabber the Parrot was perfect for what I needed. He is now a decoration/toy in a pirate ship themed nursery. He arrived quickly and was in perfect condition.

I bought this for someone who lost his Jabber when he was a kid. He really loved the Jabber and it has sentimental value. I think this gift is great for children. The order came quickly and in good condition. It was brand new in a plastic bag covering.

The amazing pirate parrot!Jan 25, 2012

We decided to make a 'Pirate Box' for our grandson's Christmas present. The chest, with shaped lid and golden hinges was converted from a cardboard box, and a collection of pirate things began! A purple velvet long waistcoat was made for a great costume, to wear with black jeans, pirate hat, eye patch, sword, headscarf and a tin of treasure, gold coins and jewellery. The elusive item for the chest was a parrot! We searched, but could only find plastic or huge creatures until we found 'Jabber' online, to be sent from the US. Despite it only being 6 days before Christmas we placed the order thinking that we would need to tell our grandson that the parrot was delayed and would be 'flying in' later. Amazingly this beautiful, soft brightly coloured parrot arrived just in time for the whole pirate chest to be wrapped up. Brilliant! We were so impressed at the speed of delivery.
Our grandson is a real 'Pirate Captain' with a super parrot on his shoulder!

I needed a last minute gift for my littlest granddaughter. Purchased the parrot hoping she would like it. She was absolutely delighted, wouldn't put it down. She has several other Beany Babies, but this one looks like a keeper. The quality and the price were surprising also. Delivery was within 2 or 3 days. I love Amazon.com DJH
