When I was 10 or 11 I had a giga pet, and all my friends had Tamagachi's. Now that I'm 27 it's a cute toy to have. it travels well, it's remotely interesting and not more fun than I thought I would be. It's a little pet with simple tasks, simple buttons and not a bad buy for a bit of nostalgia.I doubt that any of today's kids would find this little gadget at all interesting. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase!

I got this as a birthday gift for one of my friends because she used to have one and always raved about it. She absolutely loved it, said she got very nostalgic when she played with it. The key chain hoop is convenient, she keeps it on her backpack and carries it around at school all the time and whenever she gets bored, she starts playing with it. I also want to mention that it does beep, regardless if you're playing with it or not. If you want to turn the beeping off, push the first and third button at the same time and that should do it.

Excellent toy for anyone. I bought it for my friends B-day as a joke, and turns out that it was the Hit of the party. He loved it and now everybody has one. Adults having fun with toys and reliving that old school memory. Plus The amazon service was quick and efficient, a little expensive on their shipping but worth every penny.

This is a fun addition to any tamagotchi collection, or great for a first one too. Your tamagotchi is basically, as the name of it suggests "a music star" and it grows up to play concerts and win awards. you can buy food and items at the shop, similar to the other connection versions. There are 3 games. You go to music school with the band that you form and then you also have to practice when you become an official band and play concerts. There are i think 12 diff genres of music and a variety of instruments that you can obtain (usually given to you, not usually bought), and also toys (that also are given to you). You can marry off your tamagotchi like in the previous connection versions - either to a character that the Matchmaker brings, or to another tamagotchi that you connect with the infrared sensor. have fun!
