Reasearch before you buy and want to complain afterwardsMay 15, 2009
By BobbyPhoenix25
"PTE"
This is an excellent LEGENDS class transformer. For people complaining about the size and not being described correctly, here's a list: LEGENDS = Small Basic/ Deluxe = ~6-7 " Voyager = ~ 6- 10" with more detail Leader = The big guys
Hope this helps
Small pieces pop offSep 12, 2011
By YogaMom This toy is designed like many of the new level I and II transformers. Instead of breaking the pieces pop apart if moved the wrong way. Given that this one is so small the pieces are easy to lose. Ok for a little gift (we used it as a cake topper) but it prob won't last long.
Difficult to transformJan 01, 2011
This a great rendition of Soundwave, and looks perfect in both jet mode and robot mode, but he's very difficult to transform. I spent 10 minutes getting it all to line up. The instructions are maddeningly unhelpful, but this Soundwave is perfect in every other sense. Good job, Hasbro! (Might wanna hire a new instruction writer, though.)

THE worst transformer I have ever played with.May 03, 2009
By Nick J. Ashley I bought this transformer at the local dollar store for $3, and that was three months ago. I STILL can not transform this thing into its proper jet mode. There are so many pegs and holes, I don't know where they go or who goes into what, and the instructions that came with it might as well be a mentally-handicapped three year olds drawing of a unicorn fight spider-man, all the good they did. I'm tempted to just melt the thing in a frying pan, just to make him know the anguish he has given me, even though soundwave is my favourite transformer.
I do understand the other reviewes thinking this was a larger toy. I can tell even in the pictures here that the toy is small, from the level of detail on his arms and thighs. If he were a larger model, he sure would be an ugly motherf-watch your mouth! I'm only talkin about Soundwave. I can dig it.

Buyer Beware--Small Version, Not Full SizedNov 24, 2008
By L. Williams Before you purchase this make sure you read the dimensions. I did not and was expecting the full-sized Soundwave. Instead, I got the miniature version. Since this is priced like the full-sized I saw at Wal-Mart not long ago and it's not specified that this is one of the miniature versions, I was very disappointed when I received this product. The seller really should make this clear in the product description.
