I'm going to keep this very brief
For a long time toy companies were being very half asses with their toy moulds, and frankly were producing garbage that looked like knock offs and cheap stuff you'd get in a convenience store. Jazwares changes all that beginning with this figure, now don't get me wrong a lot of jazwares previous sonic stuff was OK, but I mean once they made this guy- all that flew out the window. Low cost, high deatil and accuracy along with the fact that merchandiser on metal sonic basically odesnt exist all drive the excellent qualities of this figure. I'm telling you now if your any type of sonic collector young or old your going to want one or even two of these. I myself have two: one for display and one for my MIB (mint-in-box) collection, there are only a few cons with this figure, the hip joints are incredibly wobbly, and not stiff at all, and the white stripe on his shoes are missing. A few things they could have done better were fix those two things as well as articulate the fingers individually, but I mean the figure is still magnificent. I would definitely recommend this to any sonic collector. With news on a 3 inch metal sonic coming as well as a 6 inch super poser knuckles AND a 3 inch super sonic, I look forward to what jazwares will do next.

This looks like the most awesome Sonic figure ever, but it's best kept in the box. I got one for my husband, who's been a sonic fan since the day the blue blur made his debut, and kept it carefully stored away in the hall closet from the day I purchased it until the day I wrapped it up for the holiday gift exchange. It looked like it was fine in the package, but when he opened it up to test out the articulation... a leg fell out of the box!! It was horrible and disappointing! Thankfully I had other Sonic stuff for him, but I'm still bothered by this little let down. Hopefully the company that makes this toy will answer my complaint about how flimsy this item is even in careful ADULT hands!

We love this toy - but it is a bit fragile - my son - who loves all tings Sonic - was very gently playing with it - and one of the thumbs just came off in his hands as he was turning it (and it is made to turn). Tough to see thos tears sooooo soon after Xmas...

If you think he looks awesome on the net, wait until you take him home! He's simply amazing! He stands on his own quite easily, and is made from a much sturdier material than the previous articulate Sonic & Shadow figures. The only problems I've had is that some of his joints are "stiff", but after some coaxing they are fine. Another excellent point about the sturdiness of this toy is that the limbs can take more pressure. Previous Sonic figures had the issue of limbs breaking off, but this one's fine. Take him home and have fun!

I purchased this for my 11 year old daughter who is obsessed with Sonic. This was number 1 on her Christmas list this year. After carefully taking it out of the box and placing it next to all her other Sonic figures, the left leg fell off. Now I am out of the money I spent and have a one legged figure.
