I paid about $30 for this ($25 + $5 shipping). I bought it for one of my nieces since she is having a Curious George party. When I opened the package and saw this, I thought it was small. It's not actually 17 inches. I took a tape measure and it's actually more like 15 inches. I would've given it a better rating if it hadn't cost so much.

My son loves curious george! This is a 12" monkey with a yellow hat. I removed the hat, it is only attached with four stitches, so it can be an accessory. My son will do anything that george does....eat broccoli, sit on the potty, go to bed......:-) We're very happy with george.

It gets tougher every year to find something suitable to add to my 32 year olds collection!!! This product is absolutely not your run of the mill junk usually available during the holiday season! If my boy was 2 he would be mauling it and enjoying it just like his first Curious George. That by the way is a bit worse for wear but has matching scars or at least stitches Doctors put in when my little guy had his first surgeries to let my son know he didn't go through the surgery all alone. That was back when Doctors really cared about their patients!!! When my boy saw how tough George was he had to be a big boy also.

George arrived to my office about a week ago. He is a Christmas gift for my 2 year old niece. Since George arrived, he has been photographed, hugged, saved as wallpaper, and placed atop of wrapped packages.
I cannot bring myself to wrap him up.
I know this is for my 2 year old niece but George has now taken on a life of his own. I have no choice. I need to order more: one for my law firm and one for the adjoining law firm.
WE LOVE THIS TOY!!!
