Fun for my 3-yo boyJul 17, 2010 My 3yo son has so much fun playing with this. The colors are bright, and it's easier for him to manage than holding a crayon or pencil. It's also better for me bec there's hardly any cleanup involved.
My 2-year old son loves theseFeb 18, 2010 We purchased two sets of Do-a-Dot markers: one regular colors and one brilliant colors. My 2-year old son loves coloring with them and uses them easily and surprisingly accurately. Markers say "washable" on the box, and the dye is easily removed from the hands by washing with warm water and soap - my son has no trace of the dye after his evening bath. However, I would recommend adult supervision to keep markers' dye off the upholstery, curtains, and clothes.
Dot Paint ReviewNov 21, 2009 I love the dot paints. The kids love to use them to color pictures with! They add lots of joy and laughter to the classroom!
Great for my little artist!Jun 22, 2008 My 4 year old first used Do-A-Dot with a cousin on a vacation. When we were stuck inside due to weather, these dot markers were great! The markers kept them busy up to an hour at a time. Just hand any child 3-? some Do-A-Dot and a big pack of white paper and they'll go crazy making pictures. They also used regular markers in some of their art with the dots. Fantastic!
As far as washable...well. My daughter did get a big red dot on the front of a very lightly patterned dress. I went to wash it immediately and it took some long scrubbing, but DID come out. I think it was due to applying detergent directly to the dot, rubbing it in with my finger and allowing to soak for a while, then rubbing and rinsing, then a final wash.
Great fun!

Horrible pink stains!Jul 12, 2007 These markers DO STAIN, especially the Magenta. My daughter is currently covered from elbows to fingertips and nothing will get it off. I was able to scrub it off my kitchen table with a lysol wipe. I don't have much hope for her shirt, though, and I wonder how long her arms will be stained pink. I don't recommend these for any age. Ink comes out really fast and keeps coming, making pools of staining liquid. Ugh.
