These are really cute in an animae kid of way. My sons love these and I found they were a great reward to keep in my bag-of-tricks while traveling. There are a number of games they can play, like jacks, and the kids made up their own too. Gogos seem pretty durable, ours have survived a few rounds of laundry. Each gogo is pretty small, so this is not a toy for tiny kids.

These gogos are so popular in school right now that all the local stores are sold out. Amazon is a great alternative.

My kids love the Squinkies so I thought the boys would like these too. They will play with them for about 5 minutes at a time. They are hard (not squishy like the Squinkies) and are a bit larger than the Squinkies.
