The trick to this "trick costume knife with disappearing blade" is that once it disappears it doesn't re-appear. I had a few trick knives 15 years ago and they worked great and lasted for a long time. When I saw these I was excited to see them and couldn't wait to get them.
When they arrived I was totally disappointed! I bought 5 and each and every one of them broke right out of the package. When I pressed the first one to my leg to test it the blade went in and didn't come back out! When I finally jostled the blade loose it flew forward and right out of the handle; the plastic piece that was supposed to stop the blade broke and the blade became a projectile. I thought: "Okay, it could be a fluke." But each one did the exact same thing! It was ridiculous!
Save your money! Don't buy these!

Had a blast pranking friends and family with this fake knife. I am known for having accidents with my knives and people are weary when I play with my knives already. So the setup for this prank was to show off my real double blade knife and then to break out the fake one and stab them. My neighbor still hates me but it was great at a recent family get together, although it actually broke when stabbing my brother-inlaw. For the very cheap price and cheapness of the product it still is very entertaining, atleast to the stabber, maybe not so much to the stabbee.

Just as the title says....Didn't take 5 minutes for this product to break. Had to glue it back together. Then once the blade went inside the handle, the spring wouldn't push it back out! DO NOT BUY THIS TOY! I'm an idiot for buying this toy!!

False advertising - picture of knife is black - what came in the mail is purple handle with yellow blade. Piece of junk. Dont buy it!!

This knife broke literally within 5 minutes of using it! The handle is molded in one piece so its not even possible to take it apart and stick the blade together again!
